Eleven Madison Park

One of the finest restaurants in a city replete with the best, Eleven Madison Park has an amazing art-deco dining room that serves Chef Daniel Humm's pure and sophisticated French fare.  Despite dazzlingly white tablecloths and a grand, high-ceiling dining room, there is not a hint of stuffiness here. The menu lists dishes but invites guests to share their own preferences and dislikes in order to design a customized meal.

Aureole

Located in the eco-friendly Bank of America Tower, Aureole continues the commitment to the environment with a long-standing tradition of using farm-to-table ingredients. Offering a variety of menus for lunch, pre- and post-theater dinners and more, the kitchen turns out simple dishes with sharply focused flavors. Their specialties include Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with crispy shiitake, scallions, taro root, ponzu and lavash cracker.

The interior at Aureole is as striking as the presentation of the dishes, with the expansive wine cellar looming over a dining room swathed in brown suede and maple trim. Lighting in the venue comes from a massive centrally-located chandelier.

Colicchio & Sons

Few things symbolize a subpar restaurant than when a table's meals arrive at different times, so Colicchio & Sons servers always deliver plates in synchronization so there's never so much as a second of awkwardness. This, and many other fine details, are what make Colicchio & Sons one of New York's best restaurants.

The cuisine here is very Tom Colicchio, with down-home favorites mingling with farm-fresh ingredients for delicious flavor profiles that have the city's foodies raving and the tourists looking forward to their next trip back. The menus change daily and incorporate the finest seasonal and local ingredients.

Craft

Craft, by Tom Colicchio, is the place New Yorkers go for gourmet comfort food. The menu features homestyle favorites prepared in the style of high cuisine, yet employs a careful attention to sustainability, they even list the farms each menu sources from alongside the choices.

The menu is in a constant state of adaptation, changing with the season and the whims of the chef's team. For the indecisive or simply adventurous, the tasting menu features a six-course meal full of sumptuous surprises.
